The Town of West Springfield Department of Public Works is inviting bids from qualified Contractors to provide Insertion Valve Installation Services in West Springfield, MA. There will be one contract awarded as part of this IFB.

The Town will require insertion valve installation at the following locations:

4 - 10" Valves Park Street Various Locations
1 - 6" Valve on Lathrop St
1 - 10" Valve on Park Ave
1 - 12" on Great Plains
1 - 12" on Birnie Ave

Additional Bidding Instructions

Sealed Bid Proposals will be received at the preceding address until 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Proposers shall submit One (1) original and One (1) copy of the bid. The outside of the sealed envelope should clearly read: “IFB 21-0016 INSERTION VALVE INSTALLATION”. In addition, prospective bidders have the opportunity to submit their bids electronically via BidNetDirect. There is also a special mailbox set up in the lobby of the Town Hall labeled “bids” for bidders who wish to physically drop off their bids. No bids will be accepted after the above stated date and time.
Immediately following that time all bids (paper and electronic) will be publicly opened. If, at the time of the scheduled bid opening, the Municipal Office Building is still closed to the public, due to recent events, no bidders will be allowed to physically attend the bid opening – it will be conducted by remote participation in the following manner: ZOOM INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED IN BID DOCUMENTS
