23-0016 - New Toilet Rooms at the Irish Cultural Center of Western New England (Sub-bids)

The Town of West Springfield is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for New Toilet Rooms at the Irish Cultural Center of Western New England (IFB #23-0016). Bidding procedures shall be in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, section 44A through 44J as amended by Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004.  Wages are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §26 to 27H inclusive.

Filed Sub-bids for the trades listed below will be received until 10:00 AM on February 9, 2023.  Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed below and bidders must include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder’s Update Statement.
093000 - Tiling
220000 - Plumbing

General Bids will be received until 10:00 AM on February 21, 2023.

Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a licensed surety company, or a Certified check, or a Treasurer’s or Cashier’s check  in the amount of five (5%) percent of the base bid payable to the Town of West Springfield.

A Payment bond and a Performance bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price will be required of the Successful Bidder. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish workmen’s compensation insurance and public liability insurance.
