21-0032 - Town & School Data Centers Project

The Town of West Springfield is interested in receiving bids for new datacenters for both the schools and town. The town datacenter is located in the Municipal Office Building at 26 Central St, West Springfield, MA 01089 and hosts approximately 15 virtual machines. The School datacenter is located at the High School, 425 Piper Rd, West Springfield, MA 01089 and hosts approximately 16 virtual machine. The two sites are connected by Municipal fiber.  This is a two part project. The School datacenter replacement is to be completed by January 2022. The second part of the project (replacement of the Town datacenter) is subject to budget approval in June 2022 and is to be completed by January 2023.
