Notice is hereby given that City of Ferguson is seeking proposals for services for a Fireworks Display. Proposals will be received by the City Clerk at City Hall; 110 Church St, Ferguson MO 63135 until 11:00 AM October 7, 2022 local time. Proposals may also be e-mailed to administration@fergusoncity.com. Proposals should be clearly marked for the project you are submitting for: Fireworks Display, Juneteenth. Proposals received after 11:00 AM on October 7, 2022 will not be opened. A committee comprised of city staff will review all submissions and make a recommendation to the City Manager and ultimately the Mayor and City Council.
Request For Proposals: Fireworks Display
Qualified service providers shall submit a proposal to provide a fireworks display for an amount not to exceed $10,000 on the 19th of June, 2023. The proposal should include a grand finale display. The length of the display should be identified, and must have a minimum length of 10 minutes and maximum length of 15 minutes. Please include an approximate interval time for each shell in the show. The show will take place at 9:00 p.m. (or dusk, whichever comes first) at Forestwood Park, Ferguson MO.
Each proposal should include a description of all fireworks to be included in the display and any other visuals and an explanation that assists in describing the show. Services to be performed must be in compliance with all provisions of applicable laws and regulations, including, without limitation using one licensed pyrotechnic operator in connection with the handling or display of fireworks, combing the grounds for any live materials around the site immediately preceding the fireworks display, providing sufficient personnel at fireworks discharge site in order to ensure a safe public display, and obtaining all necessary licenses and permits. The City of Ferguson shall provide periodic police patrols of the site during installation of the pyrotechnic devices and shall provide ongoing police supervision of the site during the show.

Criteria for Evaluation
All submittals will be evaluated in accordance with the criteria indicated below and effectiveness with which they are addressed. The proposer is cautioned that it is the proposer’s sole responsibility to submit information related to the evaluation categories. The City is under no obligation to solicit such information, if it is not included in the proposer’s original proposal. Failure to provide such information may have an adverse impact on the evaluation of the proposer’s proposal.
