Description

Bay County seeks to enter into a three (3) year contract (2025-2027) with an option for an additional two (2) years of service for aerial application of an aqueous formulation of Bacillus thuringiensis (BTK) or an equivalent, to designated wooded areas of Bay County to control outbreak level populations of Spongy Moth. The application rate shall be one half (0.5) gallon per acre or 24 BIUs per acre. Approximately 500 to 5,000 acres will need to be treated within the townships of Bay County as designated by the Forest Sustainability Program. The final determination of total acreage and control material will be made by the County and will be based on the level of outbreak Spongy Moth populations.

BID RESPONSE DELIVERY: Qualifications must be returned no later than July 12, 2024, @ 11:00 A.M. in a sealed envelope clearly marked “BAY COUNTY FOREST SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM SPONGY MOTH AERIAL TREATMENT.” Please provide five (5) printed copies of the submission and one cost envelopment (include with the submission labeled “Original”).
