Description

The existing 25 ton HVAC unit has reached the end of its useful service life. Bloomfield Township desires to have the unit
removed and replaced. It is located in an attic space. This unit currently serves a portion of the Upper Level
Treasurer/Assessor’s Office area and a portion of the Lower Level Police Department. It is understood that the unit may
be original to the building and is more than 50 years old. Additions and renovations to the building in the late 1990’s added
new floor space to the east side of Town Hall and reworked some of the interior ductwork. Due to this past renovation, it is
possible that some of the heating and cooling loads that this original unit served, have been reduced. (Refer to Reference
Drawings Sheets M-5 and M-6 included with this RFP.)
