The Charter Township of Bloomfield, Oakland County, Michigan is requesting consulting services for a Rate Study for the Bloomfield Township Drinking Water System and Sanitary Sewer System. Bloomfield Township reviews and sets water and sewer rates annually, as approved by the Bloomfield Township Board of Trustees. The water and sewer rates are calculated based on the annual water and sewer fund projection, projected supplier expenses, expected annual debt obligations, funding of the water and sewer operating reserve fund, and funding of the water and sewer capital improvement program. To be considered, eight (8) copies of the RFP and one (1) unencrypted electronic copy (USB flash drive) must be submitted, in a sealed envelope, no later than May 24, 2021 by 2:00 PM and shall be mailed or dropped off at Bloomfield Township to the attention of Olivia Olsztyn-Budry, P.E., Director of Engineering and Environmental Services.
