The Bloomfield Township Engineering & Environmental Services Department (EESD) is seeking proposals from qualified professional companies to plant approximately 89 trees between one and half inch and two and a half inch (1 ½ -2 ½”) caliper trees when measured twelve inches (12”) from the ground on the center medians and adjacent shoulders within the public rights of ways of Telegraph Road, Woodward Avenue, Long Lake Road and Andover Road in Bloomfield Township. The trees will be properly planted, mulched, staked and watered in accordance with the included Specifications.
These services will be conducted under the guidance of the Bloomfield Township EESD and shall be completed in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and Local Regulations, Policies and Contractual Guidelines.
All trees will be warrantied for two (2) full years from the time of Township acceptance. The Contractor will provide the Township with a “per tree” planted price. The Contractor should anticipate working with the Townships Engineering & Environmental Service’s Department where necessary. The Contractor must employ landscaping best management practices and leave a finished product that is complete and visually pleasing.
Sealed proposals for Restoring Tree Canopy in the Rouge River Area of Concern must be received by the EESD offices at the Dave Payne Public Services Building at 1153 Exeter Road (just west of 4200 Telegraph Road), Bloomfield Hills, Michigan by 9:00 AM, March 18th 2019.
