The Brighton Area Fire Authority is soliciting proposals for firefighter protective gear (turnout gear) including coat, pant, suspenders. Vendors are encouraged to submit multiple manufacture options for consideration by the Authority. All proposals must be in writing, complete, and submitted no later than November 4, 2021 (3pm EST).
All submissions must meet the requirements of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1971 Standard on Protective Ensembles for Structural Firefighting and Proximity Fire Fighting 2018 edition.

Coat and pants are golden brown with NFPA compliant 2 tone trim. Cuffs, knee pads and similar items are to be black.
Proposals shall be submitted via email no later than November 4, 2021 at 3 pm EST. Proposals will be reviewed by staff and bidders may be requested for additional information, samples, or presentation on the proposals. Proposals shall be submitted to Fire Chief Michael O’Brian at mobrian@brightonareafire.com.
