Clinton Township is seeking sealed bids for the removal and replacement of the existing backstop and fencing at Joy Blvd Park, 23705 Joy Blvd., Clinton Township , Mi. 48036. Sealed bids are due at the Clerks office, 40700 Romeo Plank Road,Clinton Township, Mi. by 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 27th, 2016 -Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set dorth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, in accordance with Executive Order 11246 Equal Employment Opportunity and Notice of Requirement for Affirm,ative Action to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity, and that the contractor will comply with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended. -The Contractor and subcontractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, July 2, 1964(Title 40-276A). -The Equal employment Opportunity Act september 28, 1965 No. 11246 -All United States Department of Labor Regulations and standards Title 29, 1, 3, and 5. Title 18, U.S. C.Section 874, known as the "Anti-Kickback Act" , and the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. -The Charter Township of Clinton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole, or in part, and to waive any informalities, therein when such waiver is in the interest of Clinton Township, and to award the contract to other than the low bidder. - Work to be completed within 90 days of contract signing
