2017-18 SIDEWALK REPAIR SAD - CLINTON TOWNSHIP 2017-18 SIDEWALK REPAIRS

In order to provide Clinton Township with contractors and subcontractors who will carry out the work in a timely and satisfactory manner, the contractor must meet all applicable qualification requirements noted in Township Ordinance No. 413, Part I. All responsive bids must include a completed, executed and notarized “Contractor Responsibility Certificate”.  The qualifications for the contractor will be reviewed on the basis of the proposed bidder’s past performance on work of a similar nature for Clinton Township and other owners.  Provisions for this qualification procedure will be included in the bid documents.
 
Sidewalk repairs for the following locations are found to be necessary by Clinton Township and are being facilitated to provisions outlined in Township Ordinance 1022.11.  The approximated work scope primarily consists of:
Miscellaneous Township Locations (178 Total)*

• 10,500 SF – 4” Concrete Sidewalk, Remove and Replace (Approx. 50 SF at each location)
• 1,000 SF – 6” Concrete Sidewalk, Remove and Replace
• 350 SF – 6” ADA Ramps, Remove and Replace
• All required traffic control, restoration, root removal/grinding, mobilization and other incidental items.

• 20,000 SF – 4” Concrete Sidewalk, Remove and Replace
• 2,000 SF – 6” Concrete Sidewalk, Remove and Replace
• 350 SF – 6” ADA Ramps, Remove and Replace
• All required traffic control, restoration, root removal/grinding, mobilization and other incidental items.
