The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor and equipment necessary and incidental to complete the Work as set forth in this invitation in accordance with the Charter Township of Clinton standards. These principal items include, but are not limited to: 1. The construction of approximately 4,438 linear feet of 8” C-900 replacement water main and all applicable valves, hydrants, service leads and Drive Approaches along Charbeneau Street, Ormsby Street and St. Francis Street and all associated restoration. In order to provide Clinton Township with contractors and subcontractors who will carry out the work in a timely and satisfactory manner, an approved prequalification for water main replacement in an existing residential or commercially developed area must be on file with the Township prior to the bid opening. The qualifications for the general contractor and all subcontractors to be used on the project will be reviewed on the basis of the proposed bidder’s past performance on work of a similar nature for Clinton Township and other owners.
