Summary of Specifications:
Specifications will be available on the internet through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN - www.govbids.com) or can be viewed or obtained at the office of Giffels-Webster Engineers, 6303 26 Mile Road Suite 100, Washington, MI 48094 after 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 30th, 2013. The Contractor shall furnish all materials and provide all labor and equipment necessary and incidental to complete the Work as set forth in this invitation in accordance with the Charter Township of Clinton standards. These principal items include, but are not limited to: 1. Lining approximately 8,908 LF of 10” sanitary sewer, 7,920 LF of 12” sanitary sewer, 1,842 LF of 15” sanitary sewer, and 991 LF of 18” sanitary sewer within Judson Gardens. 2. Cleaning and televising of approximately 19,661 LF of sanitary sewer (8” to 18”) within Judson Gardens. In order to provide Clinton Township with contractors and subcontractors who will carry out the work in a timely and satisfactory manner, an approved prequalification for C.I.P.P. Lining must be on file with the Township prior to the bid opening. The qualifications for the general contractor and all subcontractors to be used on the project will be reviewed on the basis of the proposed bidder’s past performance on work of a similar nature for Clinton Township and other owners.
