ITB-02/08/2021 - Mustang Survival Suit Replacement

Charter Township of Clinton is taking bids to replace our Mustang Survival suits. 
Criteria for replacement is as follows:

Purchase of 10 Mustang Survival Suits with the following criteria:
Water tight hood and face seal
SOLAS reflective tape and Velcro patch for light attachment
Heavy duty zipper - flexible full length zipper provides a water tight seal
Welded nylon outer shell-provides waterproofing and durability
High performance urethane-coated nylon exterior makes cleaning and repairs easier
Safety harness - integral self-adjusting safety harness
Ergonomic ice awl pockets - sleeve pockets cutomized to attach and stow awls
Pockets easily secured with Velcro
Detachable inner buoyancy liner- constructed of closed-cell AirSoft foam for maximum flotation and thermal insulation
Liner can be unzipped and removed for cleaning and in-the-field repairs
Note: IC9001 0 is not compatible with the MA2282 O2 Replacement Liner
Reinforced knees - reinforced and padded with 2.5 mm neoprene
Seat and elbows are reinforced with shell fabric

Also to be included is the replacement of 17 PFD's
8 XL
9XXL with the following criteria:
Stearns Search and Rescue Flotation Vest, USCG Type III, Orange, nylon
US Coast Guard approved type III performance
Distinctive orange color alerts those nearby to the location of the wearer
Maximum 15.5 lbs. buoyancy
