Summary of Specifications:
Scope of Work: Exterior: High pressure water clean (5,000-10,000 psi), spot power tool clean to a SSPC-SP11 standard, and apply a three (3) coat epoxy urethane system. Wet Interior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP10 near white metal standard, apply a three (3) coat epoxy system, and seam the roof lap seams. The existing cathodic protection system shall be removed during repainting work and reinstalled with new reference cell, and wires/ropes, etc. replaced as needed. Work to be performed by the owner’s vendor. Cost is incidental to wet interior repainting. Dry Interior: Abrasive blast clean the tops of the platforms (including 1 ft up the riser) to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard, and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. The rest of the dry interior is to be spot power tool cleaned to a SSPC-SP11 standard, and apply a spot two (2) coat aluminum alkyd system. Pit Piping: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard. Foundation: Water clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Repair grout. Repairs: 1) Install a new manway gasket. 2) Install access tube gap cover. 3) Install a frost-free roof vent. 4) Replace light bulbs in dry interior. 5) Weld safety attachment lug. 6) Replace obstruction light. 7) Replace mud valve. 8) Install brackets, conduits, penetrations, mounting poles, roof railing, and painter’s railing for antenna cable routing and antenna equipment mounting.
