Summary of Specifications:
Qualified material companies are invited to submit a proposal on baseball/softball field pole and netting materials for Clintonwood Park in Clarkston, MI.
The proposal should include professional grade baseball.softball pole and netting materials that meet the required specifications listed:
1) Custom backstop netting for two (2) fields. a. Approximate coverage area: 23 feet of netting (height) on top of 3' wall (wall provided by ITPRS) in 3 separate panels of 26' (left wall), 21' (center wall) and 26' (right wall). b. Netting material i.Black #36 twisted knot nylon ii. Mesh 1-3/4 Square iii. Edging: Sewn hems with grommets on tops and sides with sewn poly rope on bottom edge
2) 8 painted poles schedule 40 steel with welded attachments. Poles to be directly buried (4 per field.) Total structure to be 30' above ground.
3) Cabling/finishing, tensioning and attachment hardware to facilitate permanent attachment, wall brackets and mounted eye-bolts to attach to concrete wall for 2 fields.
4) Delivery cost of all materials to a. Clintonwood Park, 6000 Clarkston Rd., Clarkston MI 48348
5) Independence Township Parks, Recreation & Seniors is a tax-exempt government agency, please do not add sales tax.
