Summary of Specifications:
Independence Township is seeking bids for a new emergency Standby Generator for the Senior Community Center at 6000 Clarkston Road in Clarkston.
All bids must be similar or equal to Liquid-Cooled Gaseous Engine Generac 70 KW 1PH Aluminum Generator NG item number QT07068ANAX Alum Generator NG, one 300A 120/240V 1PH Auto SMART XFER SW item number RTSW300A3 and Generator Battery GP 24F 800CA item number 0J5437 (see attached specification sheet).This Generator must also include two line LCD Tri-Lingual Digital Nexus Controller, Isochronous Electronic Governor, Sound Attenuated Enclosure, Closed Coolant Recovery System, Smart Battery Charger, UV/Ozone Resistant Hoses, +-1% Voltage Regulation, Natural Gas or LP Operation and UL2200 Listed. This generator will be attached on the ground outside the Senior Community Center behind the new addition facing Clarkston Road.
ALL BIDS MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Similar or equal to the specs listed above. -Concrete Pad (Approximately 10 feet long by 5 feet wide with 8 inches of reinforced concrete). -Connection from the generator to the Senior Community Center Building on the south side should be at least 40 foot minimum.
-Electrical wiring included to meet Township wiring specifications and wired to the existing electrical panel as part of the bid. Must include switch gear for automatic power start up. -Gas line to be hooked up must match appropriate size of generator and piping as needed. -Installation by no later than 60 days after bid is awarded unless otherwise specified. -Labor and material must be included. -All Davis Bacon requirements must be attached with bid. Bid Specs and CDBG requirements including prevailing wage will be available at the Senior Community Center on 6000 Clarkston Road and the Independence Townships Clerk’s Office located at 6483 Waldon Center Drive during the bid opening.
Independence Township is tax exempt and the Employer identification number is 38-60006906. Please note this is a Federally Funded project. The Contractor and Subcontractors on this project must comply with HUD contract provisions 24 CFR part 85.36(I), the Davis-Bacon Act, Nondiscrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 requirements, Anti-Kickback Act, Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act and Department of Labor Standards and Regulations as set forth in the Contract Bid Documents. The deadline for all sealed bids must be in before the bid opening at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in the Clerk’s office at 6483 Waldon Center Drive, Clarkston, MI 48346. All SEALED bids must be CLEARLY MARKED STANDBY GENERATOR-SENIOR COMMUNITY CENTER on the outside envelope and sent to the Independence Township Clerk’s attention and be valid for 60 days.
