Oakland Township Parks and Recreation is seeking bids from experienced and qualified contractors to perform prescribed burns in Oakland Township parks in 2019. Bids will be received at the Oakland Township offices at 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI 48306 until Friday, February 1, 2019, at 3:00 P.M., Local Time. The Oakland Township Parks & Recreation Commission is currently accepting bids for the 2019 Prescribed Burns for the following properties: Stony Creek Ravine Nature Park (17 acres) and Charles Ilsley Park (44.2) acres, for up to 61.2 acres. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to obtain any permits and contact the proper authorities before burning (e.g. fire department, sheriff’s department, Oakland County Dispatch). Oakland Township Parks and Recreation will notify neighbors of upcoming burns.
The submission of a Bid by a contractor shall be considered evidence that the contractor is satisfied with respect to the conditions to be encountered and the character, quantity and quality of the work to be performed.
Oakland Township Parks and Recreation officially distributes bid documents from the Oakland Township Clerk’s Office, 4393 Collins Rd, Rochester, MI 48306 and the Oakland Township website, www.oaklandtownship.org. Copies of bid documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain bid documents from the Oakland Township Clerks’ Office or Oakland Township website are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued.
OAKLAND TOWNSHIP PARKS AND RECREATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS, AND TO WAIVE IRREGULARITIES IN BIDS.
