Sealed proposals will be received by the Charter Township of Oakland at the office of the Township Clerk, 4393 Collins Road, Rochester, Michigan 48306 until 3:00 P.M. local time (EST), on Thursday, April 5, 2018 for construction of this project. Proposals are to be delivered to the Township Clerk’s Office in a sealed envelope marked on the outside as described in the Instruction to Bidders.
Project Description:
The project site is located along the north side of Silverbell Road, east of Adams Road between Adams Road and Gallagher Creek Park. The work consists of the construction of approximately a paved pathway between Adams Road and the Park within the R.O.W. as well as improvements to the Gallagher Creek Park including a pathway, picnic pavilion, portable restroom enclosure, drainage improvements and play area. The project also includes improvements to the curb ramps at the intersection of Adams Road and Silverbell Road. The play equipment will be provided by the Township.

Digital copies of the bid package (drawings and specifications) are accompanied with this invitation via email. Hard copies may be obtained from PEA, Inc., 2430 Rochester Ct., Suite 100, Troy, Michigan 48083 at no cost to the bidder.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Township Hall on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 10:30am.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bid bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal amount.

The right is reserved by the Owner to accept any proposal, to reject any proposal, and to waive irregularities in proposals. No bid may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving bids for a period of one-hundred-twenty (120) days.
