The Charter Township of Orion (“Township”), Oakland County, Michigan, is soliciting proposals from qualified companies to provide asphalt patching and seal coating services at various parking lots and properties located within the Township. The Township is accepting bids for asphalt patching, sealcoating, and line painting at the following locations (see exhibit A): Township Hall, 2525 Joslyn Rd., Lake Orion, MI 48360, Civic Center Park, 2525 Joslyn Ct., Lake Orion, MI 48360, Friendship Park, 3380 W. Clarkston Rd., Lake Orion, MI 48362, Jesse Decker Park, 4100 N. Squirrel Rd., Orion, MI 48359, Fire Station #1, 93 S. Anderson St., Lake Orion, MI 48362, Fire Station #4, 465 S. Baldwin Rd., Lake Orion, MI 48362, and any other location where these services are required.
This contract shall be for a 5-year period, beginning in 2019 and ending in 2023. Bidders are required to bid locations on a per year basis, which will remain valid for a 5-year period. The Charter Township of Orion reserves the right to schedule asphalt patching, seal coating and line painting as needed. The winning bidder is required to coordinator work with the Charter Township of Orion so that facilities and properties remain open during the time of work.
