Sealed Bids for the Whitlow Court Paving Project (#20278.00) will be received, by the Charter Township of Commerce, until 3:30PM local time on a Bid Opening date of Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Any Bids received after said Bid Opening date and time will not be valid or opened and will be returned to the Bidder.
All Bidding Documents and addenda will be available on BidNet starting December 20, 2022. Sealed Bids shall be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, payable to the Charter Township of Commerce.
Each Bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner, Engineer, and their respective Employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any Bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all base or alternative Bid items of work, in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities, therein when such waiver is in the interest of the Owner, and to award the Contract to other than the low Bidder.
Bids shall remain firm for a period of 90 days.
