RFP-2021-DPW-47 - 2021 WATER AND SEWER RATE STUDY

The Charter Township of Chesterfield Department of Public Works (DPW) is requesting proposals for a comprehensive water and sewer rate study. The study will include evaluating the current water and sewer rate structure and comparing it to benchmarks in the industry as well as neighboring communities. The purpose of the study is to identify and recommend a water and sewer rate structure that is appropriate for the community we serve.

Also included in this proposal is the review and evaluation of definitions that pertain to water and sewer rates within township ordinances, and clarification of definitions and methodology on how water and sewer rates should be appropriated among items such as, but not limited to: operation and maintenance, capital projects (i.e. system expansion, replacement, and improvement), and asset management.
