Description

The City of Ann Arbor is seeking the services of a Consultant with local understanding and presence to develop a Vision Zero Action Plan and Implementation Program (Implementation Program) to advance the City’s goal of eliminating traffic fatalities and serious injuries on city streets by the year 2025 by guiding action, programs, projects and policies. In 2017, the City Council passed a resolution providing a framework to achieve this goal. It states: "Council supports continued progress to prevent further
fatalities and serious injuries." In June 2021, the City Council adopting a Moving Together Towards Vision Zero plan (A2 Moving Together Plan) a Vision Zero based comprehensive transportation plan update into the city's Comprehensive Plan.
