18-15 - Development of Right-of-Way/Street Closure Requirements

The City of Ann Arbor is seeking the services of a firm to provide recommendations to modify the City’s program description, fees, and City Code and standard specification requirements that regulate the use of public right-of-way during construction and property maintenance activities. The primary goal of these requirements will be to maintain pedestrian pathways during these activities in an open and safe manner, particularly in downtown business districts, as much as possible. However, the recommendations shall apply City-wide, and balance the needs of pedestrian/nonmotorized travel, vehicular travel, and parking access.
