Purpose

The City of Ann Arbor owns and operates two golf courses. The City is seeking the services of a consultant (firm, nonprofit organization, private agency) to provide the following services as the City considers operational and financial decisions for the golf courses. 1. Evaluate the future viability and profitability of the golf courses. 2. Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the City golf operations. 3. Provide an overview of the current golf market, including demographics and a summary review of the competition. 4. Establish a process to engage the public throughout the evaluation period. 5. Provide a thorough report to City administration and City Council on the analysis completed. 6. Provide recommended course(s) of action for the golf properties by December 31, 2007.
