RFP-980 - Interim Operation of Ann Arbor MRF and Waste Transfer Station

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Ann Arbor is seeking the services of a firm to provide the labor, equipment and materials necessary to operate the City’s Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) and Waste Transfer Station (TS) for a duration of a minimum of 6 months, but subject to extensions up to 6 additional months. This operator is to provide sorting, processing, baling and ultimate delivery to market of recyclable materials delivered to the MRF by the City and/or its contractors/agents. The firm will also operate the TS by transloading all solid waste material delivered to the TS by the City and/or its contractors/agents, transporting and delivering it to the Woodland Meadows Landfill located at 5900 Hannan Road, Wayne, Michigan 48184.
