Summary of Specifications:
In May of 2015, the Ann Arbor City Council directed city staff (Resolution R-15-169) to develop a comprehensive organics management plan for City Council to consider, including funding and program recommendations for Fiscal 2016/2017 (July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017) and following budget years. City staff is to coordinate this process and provide an update to city council on its progress no later than December 1, 2015. This process is to be transparent and the development should be coordinated through the Environmental Commission to engage the wider community.
