SOQ-786 - SECURITY ENHANCEMENTS PROJECT

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Ann Arbor is seeking qualified companies to pre-qualify for bidding the work for its Security Enhancements Project. The work to perform will include the installation and integration of card access control equipment, video surveillance equipment, radio equipment to establish a wide area network involving multiple sites, and conduit and wire installation. There will be some fencing, paving and brush removal also. The engineers’ opinion of probable construction cost is between one and three million dollars.  Malcolm Pirnie is the design engineer for the project. At the time of bidding, all pre-qualified contractors must comply with the City’s Living Wage, Prevailing Wage, Human Rights, and other requirements. Only Pre-qualified contractors will be allowed to bid on the project and will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement, specimen attached, prior to obtaining the bid documents and return the bidding documents with their bid submittal.
