The City of Auburn Hills is seeking a turnkey solution for the administration and service delivery of its Assessing Department located in its City Hall at 1827 North Squirrel Road. Centrally located in Oakland County at the major intersections of I-75 and M-59, Auburn Hills maintains a diverse and complex tax base consisting of nearly every type and kind of real estate common to municipalities. With a total taxable value of $1.7 billion and a State Equalized Value of $2.1 billion, Auburn Hills boasts a number of regional, North American and world headquarters, as well as Michigan’s largest outlet shopping center, four colleges and universities, numerous housing options, and millions of square feet of retail and entertainment choices.
The current Assessing Department is comprised of five full time employees. They include: Level IV Assessor/MMAO, Level IV Deputy Assessor/MMAO, Commercial Appraiser, Residential Appraiser, and Office Clerk. These five employees currently complete all of the tasks associated with the administration of the department including but not limited to all aspects of real and personal property activities as required by local, county and state laws. The city requires a Level IV Assessor/MMAO.
