Summary of Specifications:
General: The City of Auburn Hills is seeking a experienced, southeastern Michigan based Energy Management Company that can demonstrate a proven track record in the areas of HVAC Energy Management System installation and maintenance as well as electrical lighting upgrades, and third, installation of sub-electric meters to provide electrical metering as identified in detail in the bid specifications.
History: The City has budgeted for HVAC and Electrical improvements as identified in the bid packet. The City has applied for and been awarded a Grant in the amount of $ 97,553.00 from the Michigan Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant Program (EECBG) to supplement the project. Further, with the assistance of the contractor awarded the project, apply for and anticipate receiving financial incentives under the DTE Energy’s Your Energy Savings Program.
Project Timeline: It is anticipated that work on the project will begin on July 1, 2010. The Contractor shall complete the proposed work, including final tests thereof, finished by the project completion date, unless otherwise directed in writing by the City.
