Summary of Specifications:
The City of Berkley is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to work in conjunction with City staff to provide community outreach and park design for the newly purchased property known as ‘Oxford Park’ located between Oakshire and Bacon and Cambridge and Oxford. The property was purchased by the City and will serve the community as a neighborhood park. Sealed bids must be submitted electronically via MITN. To register, go to the MITN website: www.MITN.Info. Responses are due by 10 AM on March 22, 2016. Proposal specifications may be downloaded from MITN or the city’s website at www.berkleymich.org. Hard copies are available at the Community Center located at 2400 Robina, Berkley, Michigan 48072. All proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the City of Berkley and submitted via MITN. No Consultant may withdraw a proposal between the date set for the opening thereof and forty-five (45) calendar days after the bid opening. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any formal defects or irregularities in the bids, when deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The right is further reserved to accept a bid higher than the low bid when, in the opinion of the City Council, the public interest will be better served.
