Description

The contract will cover work during the 2022 construction season. The project will consist of replacing approximately 12,800 sq. ft. of concrete sidewalk, sidewalk ramps and driveway approaches, approximately 600 ft of concrete curb and gutter, approximately 800 sq. ft. of concrete pads for bench placement and approximately 400 sq. yds. of concrete pavement replacement in various locations throughout the City, plus other miscellaneous work to make a complete project.

Sealed proposals endorsed 2022 Concrete Sidewalk Repair Program, Contract #8-22(SW), Birmingham, Michigan" will be received from Contractors at the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Birmingham, Michigan, until 2:00p.m.,Thursday,June16,2022. The proposals will be opened and publicly read aloud outside of the main entrance to City Hall at that time. Bids submitted after the exact time specified for receipt will not be considered.

The successful bidder shall be required to post bonds, and to comply with the contract requirements of the City Charter. Bids are firm, and no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after opening of bids.
