Summary of Specifications:
The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bids for (33) Galls L-Flex Armor Series Model LFIIIA-2, NIJ 0101.04 / NIJ 2005 Interim Requirements Level IIIA vests until Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., at which time the bids will be publicly opened in the office of the city clerk, 151 Martin, P.O. Box 3001, Birmingham, MI, 48012. 

Specifications are available exclusively via the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). 

Submit bids in a sealed envelope marked “LEVEL IIIa BODY ARMOR 2008”, and indicate the date and time of the bid opening on the envelope. 

The City of Birmingham reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularity in a bid when deemed in the best interest of the City. 

The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation to bid shall not be binding upon the City until a written purchase order has been delivered to the successful bidder.
