Summary of Specifications:
NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR THE BALDWIN LIBRARY IN BIRMINGHAM,MICHIGAN The Baldwin Library is replacing its Voyager Integrated Library System (ILS). Attached is a copy of the RFP. Sealed proposals for the purchase, installation, and maintenance of a client/server electronic library system for the Baldwin Library, will be received at the address shown below until 2:00 p.m., Eastern Time, on December 15, 2004. Proposals received after that date and time would only be opened at the Library's discretion.
To be considered, Vendors must submit two copies of their proposal in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Vendor's name and address, and the words "Library Automation Proposal" addressed to:

A single proposal will be received for all work to be performed. A single vendor must serve as the prime contractor for all items contained in their proposal.
Inquiries arising from any discrepancies, omissions, or other need for clarification in this document should be submitted via mailto:gmnassar@comcast.net no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on December 8, 2004. The words "Baldwin Electronic System Inquiry" shall appear on the subject line. Answers will be distributed to all vendors.
This RFP and all subsequent modifications thereto are hereby designated as the sole reference and authority for the preparation of proposals, and take precedence over any and all information related to the acquisition obtained from any source either by verbal or written communication. Clarification and/or addenda will be distributed to participating vendors who have indicated their intent to submit a proposal, provided such intent is communicated in writing no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on December 8, 2004.
