led proposals endorsed “Municipal Building Limestone Restoration”,, will be received at the Office of the City Clerk,151 Martin Street, PO Box 3001, Birmingham, Michigan, 48012; until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 9, 2006, after which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Bidders will be required to attend a pre-bid meeting on July 27, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. at the Birmingham Municipal Building. Bidders must register for the pre-bid meeting by July 25, 2006 by contacting Carlos Jorge at (248) 644-1800 ext. 342. The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms to furnish all materials and necessary equipment and perform all required work necessary to restore the outside limestone of the Municipal Building. This work must be performed as specified in the City’s scope of work for Limestone Restoration, Cleaning and Sealing and replacement of the sealant. All the specifications will be contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP, including the Specifications, may be obtained online from the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network at http://www.govbids.com or at the City of Birmingham Maintenance Department, 151 Martin St., Birmingham, Michigan.
