Sealed proposals endorsed "2009 FIRE ALARM SYSTEM" will be received at the office of the Assistant Director of Department of Public Services, 851 S. Eton Road, Birmingham, Michigan, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2009, after which time no further bids will be accepted, and at which time the bids received will be publicly opened and read. Specifications also may be obtained for a $45 fee by requesting in writing to City of Birmingham, Birmingham Ice Sports Arena, 2300 East Lincoln, Birmingham, Michigan 48009. The proposal will be for the purchase and installation of a Fire Alarm System and repairs to the existing fire system for the Birmingham Ice Sports Arena, 2300 East Lincoln, Birmingham, Michigan 48009. The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an Agreement is executed by both parties. All proposals shall specify terms. The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; waive any irregularity in the proposals received; and to accept any proposal which it shall deem to be most favorable to the interest of the City.
