REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Flat Roof Replacement on the Birmingham Ice Sports Arena Facility Sealed bid proposals endorsed “Flat Roof Replacement on the Birmingham Ice Sports Arena Facility”, will be received at the Department of Public Services, 851 S. Eton, Birmingham, Michigan, 48009; until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 18, 2016 after which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Bidders will be required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 8:30 AM at the Birmingham Ice Sports Arena, 2300 East Lincoln, Birmingham, MI 48009. Bidders must register for the pre-bid meeting by 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 11, 2016 by contacting Carrie Laird at 248-530-1714 or claird@bhamgov.org. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the specifications prepared by the City of Birmingham, Department of Public Services. Specifications are available exclusively via the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Flat Roof Replacement on the Birmingham Ice Sports Arena Facility”. The date and time of the bid opening must be marked on the envelope. The City of Birmingham reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularity in a bid when deemed in the best interest of the City. The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until a written purchase order has been delivered to the successful bidder.
