Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed "Purchase and Installation of ADA Compliance Doors for the Department of Public Services north entrance, October 17, 2006" will be received at the office of the Staff and Services Manager of Department of Public Services, 851 S. Eton Road, Birmingham, Michigan, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, 2006, after which time no further bids will be accepted, and at which time the bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The proposal will be for the supply, delivery, and installation of an ADA Compliant door for the north entrance of the Department of Public Services entrance, herein described in the specifications. The project is located at the Department of Public Services, 851 South Eton, Birmingham MI on Eton Road between Fourteen Mile and Maple Road.
ATTENTION: This is a Federally Funded project. The Contractor and Subcontractors on this project must comply with HUD contract provision 24CFR part 85.36(i), the Davis-Bacon Act, Nondiscrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 requirements, Anti-Kickback Act, Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act and Department of Labor Standards and Regulations as set forth in the Contract Bid Documents. The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an Agreement is executed by both parties. All proposals shall specify terms and show delivery date. The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; waive any irregularity in the proposals received; and to accept any proposal which it shall deem to be most favorable to the interest of the City.
