Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed "City of Birmingham Department of Public Services Salt Dome Re-Roofing, September 11, 2007" will be received at the office of the Staff & Services Manager, 851 S. Eton Road, Birmingham, Michigan, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 11, 2007, after which time no further bids will be accepted, and at which time the bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and incidental items for the following major items of work, but is not limited to: • Re-Roofing • Additional Panel Replacement if determined by owner The salt dome is located at 851 South Eton, Birmingham, MI 48009. PRE-BID MEETING To be considered as a prospective bidder, all bidders are required to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at the Salt Dome to discuss the work in detail and other miscellaneous items that shall be included in the Contractor’s work and all items discussed shall be considered as included in the contract. The bidder accepts full responsibility and risk for any errors or omission in his/her bid proposal.

The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an Agreement is executed by both parties. The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; waive any irregularity in the proposals received; and to accept any proposal which it shall deem to be most favorable to the interest of the City.
