Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed “Invasive Species Removal Project 2015”, will be received at the Department of Public Services Office, 851 S. Eton Street, Birmingham, Michigan, 48009; until 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 13, 2015 after which time bids will be publicly opened and read.  The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms for the removal of invasive plants at the Museum Pond and woodlands and Quarton Lake Park, herein described in the specifications. Further, the stumps of woody invasives are to be chemically treated and seedlings foliar sprayed. All work must be completed by December 18, 2015. This work must be performed as specified accordance with the specifications contained in the Request For Proposals (RFP). 

The RFP, including the Specifications, may be obtained online from the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network at http://www.mitn.info . 

The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an agreement has been executed.
