Sealed proposals endorsed “Kenning Park Ball Field Construction, Birmingham, MI”, will be received at the Department of Public Services Office, 851 S. Eton Street, , Birmingham, Michigan, 48009; until 2:00 p.m. July 17, 2018 after which time bids will be publicly opened and read.
The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms to redevelop two – 200 ft. ball fields. Work includes removal of existing fence and related demo work, and importing soil and grading for the construction of the fields. In addition, the installation of concrete walks and pads, ball field fencing, storm drainage, and furnishing and installing player benches. Work also includes installing safety netting, infield surfacing, tree planting, turf establishment and all related work, including site preparation and irrigation installation. This work must be performed as specified accordance with the specifications contained in the Request For Proposals (RFP).
The RFP, including the Specifications, may be obtained online from the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network at http://www.mitn.info .
The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an agreement has been executed.
