Sealed proposals endorsed “Martha Baldwin Native Wet Meadow Planting Project”, will be received at the Department of Public Services Office, 851 S. Eton Street, Birmingham, Michigan, 48009; until 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 27, 2018 after which time bids will be publicly opened and read.
The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms to provide and plant approximately fifty nine 38-cell plug flats of a variety of native genotypes in Birmingham. In addition, the work includes site preparation including herbicide treatment and installation of weed barrier and mulch. The location is Martha Baldwin Park and the area is considered a wetland, requiring a permit through MDEQ. All work must be completed by June 30, 2018. This work must be performed as specified accordance with the specifications contained in the Request For Proposals (RFP).

The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an agreement has been executed.
