Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed “Overband Crack Sealing Project” will be received at the office of the Director of the Department of Public Services, 851 S. Eton Road, Birmingham, Michigan, until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2006, after which time no further bids will be accepted, and at which time the bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The proposal will be for overband crack sealing of designated streets as listed within the city. The bid will include pricing to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the application of a job blended fiberized joint and crack sealant. Only those bidders who have MDOT pre-qualification and demonstrated their ability to successfully install asphalt-based crack sealant will be considered. All surface preparation and overband crack sealing shall be done in accordance with these specific provisions.
