Summary of Specifications:
The work will consist of repairs and maintenance to Levels 4 and 5 in the Park Street Parking Structure. Work will include but not limited to the following:
1. Concrete repairs and maintenance of concrete driving surfaces and ceilings, including anticipated floor slab post-tensioning tendon repairs.
2. Waterproofing materials installation, repair and maintenance: specifically includes but is not limited to installation of new waterproofing membrane and recoat maintenance work to existing waterproofing membrane.
3. Installation of supplemental structural steel beam supports under levels 4 and 5.
4. Installation of sheet metal coverings at select level 5 locations over structural steel bracing.
5. Preparation and painting of select structural steel cross bracing and associated elements on levels 1 – 5 of the facility.
6. Minor stair tower repairs, including repairs to deteriorated brick lintels above doorways, and steel door frame removal.
Approximate quantities are as follows: 7,800 sq. ft. of concrete slab repair in various orientations, 5,300 sq. ft. of scaled concrete surface repair; 100,000 sq. ft. total between new waterproofing membrane installation and re-coating maintenance work; 220 supplemental steel connections to install; plus other work to make a complete project.
