Summary of Specifications:
The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed qualifications and proposals from qualified professional executive recruitment firms to perform executive recruitment services for the selection of a new Birmingham City Manager upon the projected retirement of the current City Manager in May 2011.

The purpose of this request is to provide assistance to the Birmingham City Commission as they seek to recruit and interview potential candidates for the position of City Manager. It is anticipated that the selection of a new Birmingham City Manager will occur in late 2010 or early 2011 in order to provide for an adequate transition period prior to the projected retirement of the current City Manager in May 2011.
