Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed "Purchase and Installation of ADA Compliance Doors for the Department of Public Services Main Entrance, August 30, 2005" will be received at the office of the Assistant Director of Department of Public Services, 851 S. Eton Road, Birmingham, Michigan, until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, 2005, after which time no further bids will be accepted, and at which time the bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The proposal will be for the supply, delivery, and installation of an ADA Compliance doors for the entry way of the Department of Public Services entrance, herein described in the specifications. The project is located at the Department of Public Services, 851 South Eton, Birmingham MI on Eton Road between Fourteen Mile and Maple Road.
ATTENTION: This is a federally funded project. The contractor and subcontractors on this project must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, Nondiscrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 requirements, Anti-Kickback Act, Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act and Department of Labor Standards and Regulations as set forth in the Contract Bid Documents.

Since this is a federally funded project, the federal documents which convey the minimum wage rates that must be paid to Laborers and Mechanics as well as other federal requirements for this project must be requested and obtained by contacting the Birmingham Ice Sports at (248) 645-0731, Monday-Friday,
8am-5pm.
The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an Agreement is executed by both parties. All proposals shall specify terms and show delivery date. The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals; waive any irregularity in the proposals received; and to accept any proposal which it shall deem to be most favorable to the interest of the City.
