Summary of Specifications:
Sealed proposals endorsed “Demolition and Site Clearance – 1207 Smith Ave.”, will be received at the Office of the City Clerk,151 Martin Street, PO Box 3001, Birmingham, Michigan, 48012; until 1:00 p.m., May 8, 2009, after which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Bidders will be required to attend a pre-bid meeting to examine the site on May 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at 1207 Smith Ave., Birmingham, Michigan. Bidders should register for the pre-bid meeting by April 30, 2009 by contacting Mario Mendoza at (248) 530-1845.
The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment required for the demolition and site clearance of the property identified herein in accordance with the specifications contained in the Request for Proposals (RFP).
The RFP, including the Specifications, may be obtained online from the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network at www.mitn.info or at the City of Birmingham Building Department, 151 Martin St., Birmingham, Michigan.
The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding upon the City until an agreement has been executed.
