Summary of Specifications:
S. ETON RD. SIDEWALK PROJECT CONTRACT #7-08(SW) BIRMINGHAM, MICHIGAN Sealed proposals endorsed "S. Eton Rd. Sidewalk Project, Contract #7-08(SW), Birmingham, Michigan" will be received from contractors at the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Birmingham, Michigan, until 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2008. The contract will consist of work in two areas. The majority of the work will be the installation of 7,500 sq.ft. of concrete sidewalk along a commercial street where sidewalk has never existed, including various other improvements such as drive approaches, curb, and new seeded lawn areas (1,000 sq.yd.). The second part of the project will include removal and replacement of existing sidewalk sections as needed in downtown Birmingham, including 6,000 sq.ft. of concrete sidewalk, 1,300 sq.ft. of exposed aggregate sidewalk, plus other miscellaneous work to make a complete project.
