Summary of Specifications:
The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of (20) SigArms model 556 SWAT rifles until Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. 

The rifles will include the following specifications: 

SIG model 556 SWAT rifle, .556mm NATO, 16” barrel, 1:7” twist, steel receiver with accessory rail, alloy trigger casing, two position safety, collapsible stock, one (30) round magazine, hard case, lock, instruction manual, quad rail tactical forend, iron sights, model number SIG556-SP, without grip-lite 

Bids must include an additional (30) SIG model 556 two (2) 30 round polymer magazines with coupler 

All bids must include a trade in credit for the following weapons: 

(18) Ruger Mini-14 model GB, .223 rifles, with (40) 20 rd Ruger brand magazines ( 2) SIG 551-2P SWAT select fire .223 caliber rifles, with one magazine each
