REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL TO PROVIDE DOWNTOWN BIRMINGHAM SPRING/SUMMER PLANTINGS FLORAL PROGRAM The Downtown Birmingham Principal Shopping District (PSD), part of the City of Birmingham, Michigan, is accepting sealed bid proposals from private firms to design, maintain and place plantings in the approximately 30-35 PSD-owned concrete planters located throughout downtown Birmingham for spring and summer using seasonally appropriate material. Downtown Birmingham PSD 798 North Old Woodward Birmingham, MI 48009 Downtown Birmingham Spring/Summer Floral Program All bid proposals must be received by 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2007. The bid opening will be at this time. Questions may be directed to John Heiney at the Downtown Birmingham PSD office at (248) 433-3550. The PSD reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals received, waive informalities, or accept any proposal it deems best. There is no expressed or implied obligation for the Downtown Birmingham PSD to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request. The acceptance of any proposal made pursuant to this invitation shall not be binding on the PSD or the City until a written Agreement has been executed between the parties.
